OUR QUARTZ COUNTERTOP COLLECTION GIVES YOU SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM. AND SO MUCH TO GO FOR.
When choosing a stone for your next project, deciding on which
stone to choose is the first step you will need to take on your new
journey. With a multitude of stones to choose from and each with
its own unique properties, this first step in your journey is not
an easy one.
Quartz countertop slabs are not entirely made from quartz stone;
depending on the specific brand of quartz, the countertops will
consist of 75% to 95% of natural quartz rocks grinded into a powder
and mixed with polyester resin and pigments.
How do you clean quartz countertops?
As a manmade nonporous surface, quartz countertops by Onur Marble &
Granite is maintenance free and requires no sealing, polishing, or
reconditioning. To clean the surface simply use a mild detergent
and warm water. Any commercial cleaner safe to use on granite can
also be used on quartz surfaces.
How do you disinfect quartz countertops?
Clean stone surfaces with a neutral cleaner, stone soap, or a mild
liquid dishwashing detergent. Rinse the surface thoroughly after
washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Change
the rinse water frequently. Commercial cleaners that state: “safe
to use on granite”, can be used to disinfect the countertops
(regardless of the stone that you may have). You can also mix
one-part water and one-part rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to
create your own disinfectant spray.
